Marketing Intern/Co-op Summer 2025 - CMTA
For college students interested in marketing and communications.
This position is a full time (40 hrs/week), onsite position in Prospect, KY with a competitive hourly pay rate and eligible for overtime pay. This position will start ~May 2025 and go through Summer 2025. Dates are flexible with school calendar. Our hope is that the intern students that are hired will do multiple rotations with CMTA with possible consideration for full time employment upon graduation.
Job Description:
This position provides a unique opportunity for hands-on training in marketing and communications for the AE industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with a team and independently. Our marketing and communications team will teach the student co-op how we develop content and graphics, create proposals, publish and manage PR and social media and internal communications.
Job Functions: (may include but are not limited to)
- Learn and implement the basic technical and interpersonal skills needed to support marketing and communications effort in the AE Industry.
- Assist the marketing and communications team in the process of organizing, managing, and updating marketing collateral such as photography and video files, pdf files, narratives, resumes, presentations, and branding materials,
- May assist in the data collection and verification for new collateral development, organizing and managing industry events, videography and film editing, and
- Work in conjunction with graphic designers and marketing managers to help develop all aspects of an AE proposal, Press Release, Social Media Campaign, or Project Award Submittals.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar,
- Strong interest in AE Industry
- Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) experience preferred,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel,
- Ability to work both independently and with a team,
- Ability to work full time in the Prospect office throughout the summer term
