Marketing Intern - ICS
Job Summary: ICS is seeking a talented, motivated, and creative Marketing Intern to join our marketing team! This is an exciting opportunity where you will gain hands-on experience for designing, creating, and delivering various marketing materials to support ICS’s success through graphic design, communications campaigns, traditional marketing efforts, and more. This role will work with ICS’s internal marketing team and business/project development teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creatively develop and execute marketing materials such as social media graphics, content for proposals and presentations, brochures and flyers, advertisements, internal communications materials, website updates, internal communications, photography, events and conferences, brand assets, and more.
- Creatively develop materials to support referendum communications campaigns for K-12 school districts, including logos, website graphics, printed deliverables, social media, and more.
- Participate in team meetings, provide input, and receive feedback to refine designs.
- Develop materials using the Adobe Creative Suite and maintain project files in a highly organized manner for all team members to use.
- Professionally communicate with marketing vendors and other ICS employees as necessary.
- Complete other duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications required):
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or another related field.
- Junior or Senior status preferred.
- Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Have the desire to learn quickly and grow professionally within the field.
- Proven ability to maintain excellent integrity and ethical standards within role.
Physical Requirements:
This position will regularly require sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as, frequent vision. Occasional standing, walking, climbing/balancing, reaching with arms and hands, and kneeling/crouching, and lifting/carrying object weighing over 20lbs will also be required.
