Ross Video powers video production for billions of global viewers daily with the industry's widest range of smart production solutions. As the Ross Human Resources team continues to evolve, we are looking for someone who is dynamic, organized and results-oriented to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a six (6) month contract.

Who you report to: Director, Human Resources - Programs

 
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will have the opportunity to work across a broad array of HR functions and activities. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources - Programs and partnering closely with all members of the Talent Acquisition team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in activities related to the full recruitment life-cycle, from position posting and interview coordination, all the way through to preparing hiring documentation and new hire onboarding.
  • Management and monitoring of the Recruitment mailbox, responding to employee inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Manage the administration of various Talent Acquisition programs including the employee referral program and background screening.
  • Responsible for accurately processing all new employees in the HRIS
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the HR team by supporting human resources strategies, policies and processes.
  • Assist with special HR projects, programs and initiatives as required.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Who you are:

 

  • University or college degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience in an HR team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with employees and team members.
  • Ability to deal with confidential information with a high degree of diplomacy; effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • Organized and very detail oriented; ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Possess a positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong-working knowledge of MS-Office package and general computer software; familiarity with Ceridian Dayforce (HRIS) and LinkedIN Recruiter an asset.
  • Prior experience or working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Software would be helpful but is not required. 

 

Ross Video enjoys a hybrid work environment. This position ideally requires on-site presence in our Ottawa office one to two days per week, with working from home possible for the remaining days.
