We are currently looking for a Finance Director to join Ross’ Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to drive business growth and provide business support to Ross’ VPs of Product (VPOPs). This position will report to the Senior Director, FP&A and will work as a dedicated Business Partner to the VPOPS to further improve and expand the level of financial planning and analysis and decision-making support to the VPOPS group. This will include taking ownership for developing sophisticated business models which will be used to support business cases for new product introductions, long-term financial planning and be the Finance lead to VPOPS for the annual Strategic Planning cycle.
The individual will provide M&A support in areas including valuation models, purchase price accounting and asset impairment analysis. The individual will also provide support with respect to potential equity or debt financing

What the job is all about:
- Key liaison and resource to the VPOPS team to assist with developing and maintaining financial models to support their business growth.
- Key Finance contributor and business support to VPOPS for the annual budgeting cycle.
- Finance lead responsible to support VPOPS in the preparation of business cases to support new product introductions.
- Assist VPOPS with long-term financial planning for their product groups (5-year financial models).
- Finance lead for Ross’ Annual Product Strategy Summit (RASS) deliverables.
- Assist Senior Director, FP&A with annual Corporate Strategic Planning deliverables.
- Finance lead for M&A activity (including financial due diligence) and work with key stakeholders across departments on post-acquisition integration deliverables.
- Manage the preparation and completion of annual asset impairment testing cycle and act as direct liaison to auditors.
- Assist Senior Director, FP&A with external due diligence work relating to private financing (debt or equity) and potential IPO.
- Work with Senior Director, FP&A and CFO on special projects as they arise.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Who you are:
- CPA and MBA designations
- Minimum 10 years’ experience working with technology companies in progressive Finance-related roles.
- Strong work experience with financial models used to calculate NPV, IRR, ROI and break-even analysis.
- Extensive working knowledge with Excel-based advanced financial models.
- Solid working knowledge of other Office 365 applications (Word, PowerPoint).
- Effective presentation skills (oral and written).
- Must demonstrate flexibility and strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work requirements to ensure critical deadlines are met.
- Ability to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to build and develop strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently.
- Experience using financial planning tools such as Workday Adaptive would be considered an asset.
