The Camera Motion Systems’ team is recruiting a Product Operations Manager to participate in new product development, product sustaining, and customer support for the Ross Video Robotics portfolio.

What the job is all about:

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Assist the TPM, Product Owner and designated project managers in developing and tracking the project deliverables, schedules, risks & backlog development.
  • Responsibility for specific project delivery, directing resources within agreed scope.
  • Work with Manufacturing & Operations to track all Robotics NPI builds and test.
  • Owns and manages the Product release checklist and is responsible for ensuring that all disciplines (Manufacturing, Compliance, Development, etc) complete tasks required for a successful release.
  • Responsible for reporting on status of projects that are part of a government grant or other funding programs.
  • Responsible for common CMS Project Management Process implementation (Agile / MAHD).

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Responsible for coordination and maintenance (ECO, MCO, EOL, etc) of all manufacturing data for all released products
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining manufactured product costing and reporting any appreciable changes to Technical Product Manager and Product Manager
  • Responsible for communication throughout the organization for all product updates and new releases

Who you are:

 

  • Post-secondary education, engineering degree preferred. 
  • Strong Project Management experience required in a mixed discipline environment (Hardware/Software) -  PMI Certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Agile / Modified Agile knowledge, and Jira experience preferred.
  • Experience in all lifecycle phases (NPI, Product Maintenance and End-of Life)
  • Experience in a product manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Line management experience an asset.
  • You are task oriented, and are willing to take responsibility.
  • Loves working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Hybrid working option, but primarily office-based.
