Salary: $89,000 - $100,000 per year

 

Location: Remote - Central/East Time Zones are highly preferred.

 

 

Employment Logistics: 

 

The Inbound Channel Manager will be responsible for crafting, managing, and optimizing OnTrac’s inbound marketing strategy to bolster brand visibility, improve digital engagement, and drive share of voice. This includes ownership of media relations, reputation management, organic social media, web content strategy, and thought leadership initiatives. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, this role will ensure all inbound efforts align with OnTrac’s strategic positioning as “The Alternative Carrier".

Your Mission in Motion:

 

  • A passion for B2C/retail ecommerce (logistics or technologies) and experience developing B2B inbound marketing deliverables (including, but not limited to, web content, social content, press releases, media pitches, thought leadership, and brand activations, etc.)
  • 4+ years in inbound marketing, public relations, or a related field, ideally within B2B or ecommerce logistics industries.
  • Proven track record of managing media relations and securing high-impact press coverage.
  • Experience in social media management, including analytics-driven content strategies.
  • Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and SEO principles.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Demandbase One, and similar platforms.
  • Experience with content creation tools and AI-driven marketing technologies.
  • Preferred experience with advanced web CMS tools such as Optimizely, Contentful, etc.

 

 

 

Paving your way to your success: 

 

 

  • Media Relations & Reputation Management: 

 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to secure earned media coverage.
  • Develop press releases, pitches, and media kits that highlight OnTrac’s unique value propositions.
  • Monitor and manage brand reputation across channels, ensuring timely and strategic responses to public feedback and coverage.
  • Own and measure brand awareness by developing (with external partners) and managing the execution of guerrilla marketing and brand activations to drive greater word of mouth and share of voice in the market
  • Own brand awareness and media relations for all OnTrac events and tradeshows—including event messaging, announcements, booth branding, etc.

 

 

  • Organic Social Media: 

 

  • Oversee strategy and execution for OnTrac’s organic social media channels (primarily LinkedIn), delivering a daily cadence of engaging content tailored to ICP audiences.
  • Monitor social media trends and conversations to position OnTrac as a thought leader in ecommerce logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media messaging with overall brand strategy and GTM priorities.

 

  • Web Experience Management:  

 

  • Own the development and continuous optimization of website navigation, home page, and blog content, ensuring alignment with target audience needs and SEO best practices - leveraging Generative AI wherever possible to continuously fine tune and personalize content for target audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Automation Manager to deliver personalized, dynamic web experiences based on user behavior.
  • Collaborate with Sr GTM Specialists on the creation of high-quality content marketing, case studies, and other digital assets that drive engagement and conversions.

 

  • Thought Leadership:

 

  • Establish OnTrac as an industry thought leader by owning the strategy and execution model (with input from GTM Specialists, who own core messaging/positioning and service-specific content) for original frameworks, insights, and other content that engage target audiences around logistics challenges and trends.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external experts to produce white papers, webinars, and conference presentations.
  • Represent OnTrac in public forums, such as industry panels or media interviews, to build credibility and awareness..

 

  • Collaborate Across Teams:

 

  • Develop high-impact sales tools, including pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and objection-handling guides.
  • Train and enable sales teams on new products, positioning, and competitive differentiators.
  • Serve as the liaison between sales and marketing to continuously refine messaging based on feedback from the field.

 

  • Conduct Market Research and Analysis:

 

  • Work closely with operations to align on service capabilities and feasibility for new growth opportunities.
  • Partner with the broader marketing team to develop campaigns that amplify GTM efforts and support expansion goals.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and drive execution.

 

 

The Must-Haves:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-8 years' experience in related field
  • Occasional Travel as needed <10%
