Low Voltage Technology Designer - P2S

P2S is seeking a Low Voltage Technology Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling design, with experience coordinating with architects, design teams, and clients. As a Low Voltage Technology Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing in-building and outside plant communications cabling systems.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and implement telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling systems.

· Coordinate with architects, design teams, and clients to ensure seamless integration of low voltage systems into overall project designs.

· Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for in-building and outside plant communications cabling systems.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in low voltage systems.

· Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

· Conduct field assessments and inspections as needed.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field experience.

· Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in low voltage technology design.

· Knowledge of telecom room, pathway, and communications cabling design.

· Experience coordinating with architects, design teams, and clients.

· Knowledge of in-building and outside plant communications cabling design.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification.

· Detailed design experience.

· Field experience.
